SDSA Motorcycle Couriers provide you with a fast efficient and confidential courier service that is fully insured and always contactable.
Our service is quicker than our four wheeled counterparts, not because we break the law by speeding, but because we do not suffer as badly in traffic jams and hold ups. In addition, our motorcycles are fitted with GPS (sat/nav) systems to ensure that we always use the quickest and fastest route from pick up to drop off.
How can we say that we offer a secure and confidential courier service? First and foremost, when our rider collects your consignment it then becomes that rider’s sole responsibility until completion of the job. Many courier companies will send one rider or driver to collect your consignment and then take it back to base, then another person will take it forward. This can happen many times, especially if the consignment is going a long distance. In contrast, with our courier service, the rider who collects your consignment will be the rider who delivers it.
A dedicated courier service, unlike many other couriers we do not undertake multi drop work, meaning that we do not carry lots of jobs that can be dropped off along the route. This not only causes delays, but can also lead to mistakes being made with jobs. SDSA Motorcycle Couriers only work on one client’s job at a time, if we are carrying something for you, we will not be carrying something else for someone else at the same time. The only exception to this rule would be when you request us to take more than one item as port of the same job and it involves different delivery addresses for each item in the job.
Our motorcycles are fully insured through Norwich Union for courier work, yes there is a difference. Some, not all think that fully comprehensive insurance is sufficient, it’s not, and that is why there is a specific insurance for vehicles used for courier work. In addition we also hold goods in transit insurance which provides cover up to £10,000 for your consignments.
Finally, constant contact – we realise that this is extremely important for our clients who have time sensitive items on the move. For you to be able to call us to check on progress helps you with your strategic planning. Our riders are always contactable by mobile phone (subject to network coverage), the equipment is completely hands free and works through speakers and a microphone fitted in the rider’s helmet. Also, for your peace of mind, our rider will always call you to let you know your courier job has been completed the minute it ’s been signed for by the recipient.
